7
Do
not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also
reap. 8
For he who sows to his flesh will of the
flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap
everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary
while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
10
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us
do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of
faith.
Galatians
6:7-10 NKJV
As
we go through our lives we make many choices some as simple as what time to go
to bed or what color shirt to wear today. Other choices will and do have a much
greater impact on our lives and the lives of others. One of the greatest choices
we make each day has to do what we say and do in our actions toward one another.
If we as Christians live out a life of unforgiveness and spite; we will in
accordance to God’s word get that same unforgiveness and spite in return. If we
allow for that grace that we have received from God to flow out of us and offer
it to others as God has offered it to us we will receive it also. The question I
put before you today is how do you desire to live? Do you wish to have grace or
do you desire to continue to live life in your own power? Scripture tells us
that we are not able to live a perfect life.
For
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and
are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ
Jesus,
Romans
3:23-24 (ESV)
I
challenge you today to look at those you meet with one simple truth you are no
better or worse than anyone else if you will chose to see them as God sees
them.Than grace and mercy will be what you chose to share with them. Had it not
been for grace where would I be? I pray
God opens your eyes, heart and mind to Him today and everyday as you walk in the
light of His Word.
