12 “Look, I am coming soon,
bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds.13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the
Beginning and the End.”
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life.15 Outside the city are the dogs—the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.

Revelation 22:12-15 (NLT)
Will you be ready? I know that this is probably a
hard subject for a devotional but I feel led to ask that question. All life
comes to an end we will leave this world either through our death and the end
of our physical lives or when the trumpet sounds in the blink of an eye. Either
way we will all one day stand in judgment before God. In the final words of His
revelation to man he tells us that we must be washed of our sins. That washing
is only found in the blood of Jesus. We must allow Him to be the Lord of our
life giving all we have to Him. In doing this he will bring change to your
situation and allow you a new life. For those who refuse to accept him and
there will be many they will not enter into His presence. The choice is simple
accept the truth or live the lie. The truth we were created to be in
relationship with God. The truth is Jesus came suffered and died on the cross
for you. He was laid in a tomb and then raised from the dead by the power of
God. Today He is in heaven serving as an intercessor for everyone who calls on
His name for salvation. The lie is I can do this on my own we are here by
accident. We are not created with a purpose we are only here by chance. That
after you die there is no more. I must challenge you today to examine your life
are you living in the truth or living a lie. The truth can be found only as you
live in the light of God’s Word. Have a blessed day.
